I didn't want to start a whole new thread about this ... but ...
After a year in health class with such rip-roaring entertainment as "Captian Condom"...
I was under the impression that "Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome" was shortened to "AIDS". Not "aids" or "Aids" or "AIDs" or "A.I.Ds". In all cases where the "s" is left little, it doesn't make sense, since the the S stands for "Syndrome" and is NOT to indicate a plural.
If I am wrong, please explain this to me. Because, I understand that "Health" class at my school was a joke. Seriously, no one told us that condoms can help prevent STDs (which's got a little "s" since I'm reffering to more than one STD). I found that out from National Geographic. And this was the ONLY Health class the kids here have and it was when we were 13-14.

Well, since it's SO funny...
In my Spanish class there is a girl with the Spanish Name (you pick out a Spanish name that you use) "Ester" which is said a lot like "Astaire".
So, I said, "Like Fred !"
And there were crickets.
And THAT reminds me ... my "learning to type" programme at school made me type "freddie" a couple of times. Then again, nothing I had to type made much sense... all ungrammatical gibber-jabber...

Today in science I heard someone singing Bicycle Race. I turned around and I asked him him if he liked Queen too. He's like yeah they're pretty awesome, I just got their greatest hits I cd, but I'm nowhere near as huge of a fan as you are. I just smiled and turned around. I bet he will soon become addicted if all turns out well. The population of Queenfanville is growing!
