My best pal, who is in 9th grade, has the opportunity to join a club that talks to 8th grade classes about aids, std's, cutting, drugs, and all that stuff. She wants to join but she doesn't know if she will feel comfortable talking about those things infront of a whole class. She's not sure what to do. So can I get some opinions from you fine people? What should she do?
If its something she really wants to do,I say go for it, cause that one talk can inform alot of people on stuff they mightend know and it could really help them out!
Thanks! I'll tell her that!

Toughie there.. I think that if she really wants to join, she should. Perhaps if she practices speaking she'll feel less nervous about it. If she does go, let her know she's doing a very good thing, and contributing to education. She's helping kill ignorance, which sprads like plague.
But why is she uncomfortable about it? ( I'm nosy, so feel free to pretend you didn't read this )
-Things Have Changed For Me-
This is too painful for words! I'm typing really slowly because I can only type with one hand. My finger is twice its size! I have to keep ice on it so my fingernail won't fall off! It's so painful, I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT! It's even more painful than the time I has to get stiches under my eyebrow.
^ Oh dear, hang on in there!!

She's uncomfortable because when she talks to the class, she has to be specific on like how aids and std's are spread. like they want her to explain it completely and she doesn't like talking about that stuff infront of so many people.

It's a good thing, I bet it hurt when you slammed it in the window of the bus. You must've had a tough day. By the way, have you read my message in the RIP Mr. Codi thread? Sorry, just checking.
