Hi Guys,
What a great story about Freddie!! However, do we really know that it is true? I mean, what if random people are posting things on the news board that are not true? We need proof!

You could always trust our fellow Queenies
You don't, why would this women lie? I believe it, Freddie was a kind person, I am giving her the benefit of doubt.
yeah what they said...besides even if she is lying...at least shes saying nice things
Roger: Can I go To Lunch Now? Brian: No, You Can't... --------------------------------------- Freddie: Oh Shit, All this crap again?! "If I had to do it all over again, yes why not? why not
i'd like to believe it.
actually i'd love to believe.
I also know that I've seen two similar versions of this letter posted in various places. Both are telling the same story by the same person but there's some differences. Anyone noticed this?
Do you know the story that is behind Freddie's "Keep Smilin'" track? So why THIS story can't be true and what kind of proofs you need?
whats the story behind Keep Smiling??
There's line "Colin keep smilin'!" in the song, remember?

There was a 25 years old Queen fan in Plymouth named Colin Peterson, he's got in coma after car crash. Freddie had heard about that and record "Keep smilin'" especially for him, tape was sent to hospital, but Colin died and the cassette was buried with him.
Freddie is GOd.

ok thanks for the info!

too bad colin died
wait, not the Bee Gees drummer??
FREDDIE IS THE 2ND GOD!

or the rock god, I'm not sure, but my religeous beliefs come first.

Serry, is this smooth sarcasm or are you serious? If you're being sarcastic, you really got me going, but if you're serious, I have to wonder why it's not talked about more often.

Every word is true, this is not something to be sarcastic about. It's in one of the biographies, don't know off hand which one.
Just open the box set book and you'll find near "Keep Smilin" "In memory of Colin Preston" line (sorry I named him Peterson in the previous reply). The story is absolutely true. And as I already wrote it's in the lyrics even:
Keep smilin'
Keep smilin'
Colin keep smilin', yeah
Keep smilin'
