I would really prefer something darker, but it's up to you. They are pretty colours, but against a light background, it makes my eyes go squiggly.

You'll actually notice that most of the long-term Queenzoners do NOT have different colored names.
Perhaps the term "frequent posters" or "teenagers" can be substituted for "long-term users" ?
I really don't care about colour either way. It wouldn't kill me to go without it, but it does (for me, at least) help to identify people (and sort them out from in a long thread).
ADDITION : Okay, I wish there was a waiting period for all this colour switching. Also, the very light names are very annoying - even more so now that I'm on another monitor and the picture is much less clear.

You're also setting yourself up for identity theft. Anyone can easily take your name with a slightly different color since the code itself becomes part of your name...
