if they know about freddies house they should atleast know about who lives there.

well, they could have thought it was off hours or something. and they did ask if someone lived there, too. they weren't being stupid, just ignorant, so they asked the question, and now they know. we aren't born knowing things, so it's silly to look down on someone just because they haven't learned the same things you have.
now the people who are actually IN the clip...that's a different story. they knew full well what they were doing.
