[QUOTENAME]MercuryArts wrote: [/QUOTENAME]I have been thinking about this for a while, especially since I am planning to propose in few months. It's pretty tough. Someone else said early on in this thread that most of their love songs are more about lost love. Except for TMBF, IWBTLY & U&I nothing else springs to mind. TATDOOL isn't bad, but I plan to use that for a video montage of pics of both of us growing up w/ our family & friends. And don't nobody steal my idea!! Since my GF is a huge U2 fan I have a feeling we'll be dancing to One. The song to walk into the reception is a tough one. If we have a live band I though about having them jam on the riff to Zepp's How Many More Times, no vocals. Or WWRY w/ just the stomps & claps. Again no vocals. Or totally off the Queen topic, Crazy Love by Van Morrison as our dance song.
Here's a question for all the guys, what song do you dance to w/ your mother & what song would you girls dacnce to w/ your father? And you can't say Daddy's Little Girl! Too easy & couldn't be less original.
Honey, what's the reason people get married ? It's not because they love each other, it's so they can have sex without being worried that their parents will find out and take a hissy.
Me ? Marriage ? I hate kids. As may have been said by Freddie if the quote site isn't fallacious - "I would rather get another cat".
Wanna marry me? I don't need a baby, just baby-making. ;-)
Charles shall consider. But Charles would like to point that it would take a very special person to marry a girl who goes around calling herself Charles and insisting that you wear high-heels for at least half an hour before sex.

For my wedding in 1995 we played You're My Best Friend for the bridal party (pretty obvious).
These are the Days of Our Lives for the mother/son - father/daughter dance. My Bijou for the groom/bride.

THE FAIRY FELLERS MaStEr StRoKe!!! hehehe!... i think that if i did have a queen song for my wedding march thingo id have the piano part of love of my life... or maybe like a violin or something! i dont know!
I actually used "Wedding March" from the Flash Gordon soundtrack as we went down the aisle. I also remember, and I swear this is true, my soon-to-be wife loved the music of "Save Me", but the she wasn't that big of a fan at the time (since rectified) and couldn't remember the title-she had only heard me playing it at our apartement. She described the song and hummed the melody-I had a pretty good idea what it was and played it...once she realized what the lyrics were actually about, she decided perhaps this may not be the best wedding song in the Queen catalog. We also used the instrumental "Forever" as background music before the actual ceremony, but "Thank You" by Led Zeppelin was our actual first dance song-a song that of course also has Queen connections.
The Wedding March
Love of My Life
Get Down Make Love
In that order. :P

Some Day One Day was one of the first that came to my mind =)
Then Death On Two Legs xD
Dead On Time would be cool xD Or Pain Is So Close To Pleasure :b
Gimme the Prize... or Princes of The Universe xD
I've got it - All Dead, All Dead B) (Ok, maybe a bit depressing - that's the fun about it xD Or maybe Who Wants To Live Forever or No-one But You. Beautiful songs, but a bit Melancholy... :b)

Definitly YOU´RE MY BEST FRIEND. I mean, can it exists another best friend than your husband or wife?
Khashoggi's Ship would be a great one for the bachelor party the night before.
I think I'd also pick "Fairy feller's masterstroke" as a wedding march. I'm french and no one would understand I'm making fun of them in the church uh uh. "The fairy folks have gathered round a new moon shiiiine, to see the feller crack a nut at night's noon tiiiiiime"
Yeah, people will gather to see me crack some nut :P Although I won't let it happen anytime soon um.
And for the first dance, well, my cousin, who's also a huge Queen fan, had picked "love of my life" Wembley version. I loved it. That may be a good choice, Oh! Reminds me that I could also pick "Big Spender" from Live at Wembley as a really short and provocative wedding march :P
