[QUOTENAME]young_strat_man wrote: [/QUOTENAME]I think that Bri is NOT acting like an old man, i think he is acting like any other human that writes their feelings on the internet. Yes the Archivist is stupid. lol But anyways i would rather hear Bri rant about Apple more than i would want to hear half of the stupid posts here on QZ.
Though you're still here?
We love you Mandy!
Holy Jebus you people crack me up sometimes.

- Greg Brooks is remarkably civil given the shit he has to put up with on this forum which continually breaks new ground in displays of stunning, stomach churning arrogance and outright idiocy. He has demonstrated clearly time and time again how people seem hell bent on villanising him by conveniently leaving out important facts or otherwise manipulating things. I have never seen Greg react unreasonably; every time he's flown off the handle the jackass on the receiving end was down on his knees begging for it :D

- It's Brian's site. He can say whatever the fuck he wants. You don't like what he's writing, there is a very simple solution - STOP FUCKING READING. Do you go around blog sites, telling people what they can and cannot express their feelings on? Brian is a person, just like you and I, with feelings and fears just like us, and has just as much right to talk about them. If it doesn't conform to your definition of acceptable behaviour for a "star" or you don't like it then, well, tough shit.

Christ I hope I'm never stuck next to some of you guys on a plane while you bitch and moan about all the irrelevant bullshit that gets your panties in a bunch. I'd be jumping out without a parachute before the halfway mark :)
Hey... you're right. I forgot that thread where Greg was actually being very laid back and actually explaining how he wasn't to blame for these stories that go around about him. It was a real eye-opener. Especially when the people who had said those things then recalled the situation and reiterated what Greg had said.

Adam.

>Your inability to comprehend basic english is astounding. You should submit yourself to some scientists for study.

Where do you believe me to have been unable to comprehend basic English? Why make a statement like that and run away without having qualified yourself?

And:

>Holy Jebus you people crack me up sometimes.

Who is this Jebus? Some delusionary deity you pray to?

>- Greg Brooks is remarkably civil given the shit he has to put up with on this forum which continually breaks new ground in displays of stunning, stomach churning arrogance and outright idiocy.

Granted, BUT, when faced with the simple task of answering a question from someone that does not display this type of characteristic, he fails to deliver. He has also CONSISTANTLY belittled people that actually DO display a greater knowledge than he has and have done so in a very polite manner. If he doesn;t like the way certain sections of the readership of Queenzone post about him, then SURELY the best thing to do is just to ignore them?

>- It's Brian's site. He can say whatever the fuck he wants. You don't like what he's writing, there is a very simple solution - STOP FUCKING READING.

Ditto the above.

You must be either blind or a very loyal friend (or get loads of unreleased material from GB :-).

All he has done is insult and taunt visitors of this board (sometimes provoked, mostly not), as well as harassing a minor in a very peculiar way.

What you call "civil" are the posts where he waits until the third line until he starts the namecalling, instead of right away in the first line. I did not know the man beforehand and so I had no reason to slag him off, but the guy has established himself on this forum as a sociopath with sado-masochistic tendencies.

What baffles me is that you seem to see him as more or less the winner of these shouting contests, while in fact his "arguments" are mostly the level of a twelve year old.
Namecalling, childish word games with other people's user names and fully transparent sarcasm appear to be his main weapons.
I fail to see the brilliance or higher motives behind all this, but I'm open to reason.

I'd still like to think that someone appointed by my favourite band as their archivist can be more than a screaming, self-important kid.

Oh yes, its absolutly FAnTASTIC, my new favourite movie!!

here: (1880): 1812 Overture, Op. 49. This piece was reluctantly written by Tchaikovsky to commemorate the Russian victory over Napoleon in the Napoleonic Wars. It is known for its traditional Russian themes (such as the old Tsarist National Anthem) as well as its famously triumphant and bombastic coda at the end which uses 16 cannon shots and a chorus of church bells. Despite its popularity, Tchaikovsky wrote that he "did not have his heart in it".
