Well, I´m not sure about Mary´s love for Freddie. I mean, honestly I think that she stayed by his side because of his fame and money. I already read the book "Mercury and Me" by Jim Hutton, and I really hated Mary Austin. But after that I thought that maybe he was jelous about the relationship between Freddie and Mary... Well I don´t know, but I don´t believe in her true love for Freddie :o(

i think freddie and mary loved each other as long as they had the relationship. and after that the love was away, but they stayed real good friends, maybe best friends.
