Hello Everyone!!

I'm new here and I just wanted to say Hi to you all and to let you know a little about myself. I've been a Queen fan for as long as I can remember! It all started in 83 when I borrowed my mothers 8-track tapes. I popped in Live Killers and it's all history from there. It seems that I took their music with me everywhere. I am one of the biggest Freddie fans that I know of, (I'm sure some of you would disagree and that's fine). I used to dance around my room singing along pretending to be Freddie. I still paint my fingernails black and sport long hair with short bangs like he did in the 70's. My only regret is that I never got to meet my hero or even see him in concert live! I have seen some concert DVD's and it always brings a tear to my eye. My favorite Queen song is Killer Queen. I'm an American but am a HUGE Anglophile! It is an interest of mine and I have studied the English Monarch and history. I love football (soccer) Go England!!! I am non judgemental, it doesn't matter to me what anyone's sexual orientation is or the color of their skin, we are all one in my opinion! I look forward to meeting new people and making friends. Sweet! Welcome aboard, Mercury 78, and have fun. I'm a little new, too, so I can't answer alot of questions, but there are plenty of super-nice people here who will.

ENJOY! I wish I were British, too. Today in Social Studies, our teacher was like, "None of you girls would become a Brit to be queen of England, right? You'd stay American!" (I'm not sure if he was joking.) And I was like, "Ummm... yeah."
