i see you moan about so many recordings on this site, yet on checking through the past 17 pages i see you make 1 announce and that was just a wind up so if you have all these fantastic recordings of QUEEN how about sharing them so we can see the BEST QUALITY.PUT YOUR MUSIC WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS??????????????????????????????who as a better recording of any of the shows i have put up?????if you have post them instead of moaning.or just carry on with your knitting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and give us all a break
Sir GH is free to share whatever he wants to share and I understand why he chooses to share on the trader's den and not here. I hope he will share some of his stuff over there(he said he will, so be patient). That site has a serious tradingpolicy, much better than queenzone, that is the reason.

By the way , I don't want to offend you. You posted great things and I thank you for those things. It's just:lossless formats would be even better:-)

Yes, give a shit about quality...is that right?
But agree, we need a lossless and mp3 threads seperatly.
I don't care about lossless or mp3 like many other I prefer to have one show than nothing, for the ones than NEED URGENTLY some lossless post them somewhere else and that's it.

I have a double attitude about FLAC and MP3. I have a pretty big collection of MP3 that I use for my listening needs and believe me I am totally greatful to all that shared these great shows. In some cases the mp3s sound a lot better than some FLACs shared. But I do realize if those great sounding MP3s were shared as FLAC to begin with they would sound better. I DL the MP3s knowing that when I share them somewhere down the line, most of you will be grateful.
I just think everyone needs to ease up on Sir GH because he has some valid points about FLAC. I do beleive people need to be more educated about converting mp3 to FLAC and visa verse. I don't agree with him about not wanting to share first generation recordings here in QZ, I know I would share but with a request not to convert to MP3 for the purpose of sharing. If I found out someone converted my show and shared in in MP3 against my wishes I'll block the person from any future shares. I don't think it would be be necessary to go to that extreme because most people here respect one another.

I just hope Richard Orchard will consider showing share ratio here because there are far too many hit and runs here.

Andy,

Read my post here, and hopefully you'll understand why I don't share here... (yet?)

You could have contacted me personally (my email is in my profile), rather than posting a personal attack on the forum. Never once have I attacked you. All I've been doing is talking about the lack of sound quality policies here, the problems it's creating, and suggesting a solution to the problem.

Like I said in the other topic, I'll be incredibly happy to share things here once there is nothing to complain about... and I'm sure many others would follow. It really isn't much to ask.

But that just isn't enough. All it takes is for one person to ignore (or even innocently miss) the request, and then the mp3s multiply very quickly... there will be 5 lossless copies, and perhaps hundreds of lossy ones. I prefer to share elsewhere, and wait until things improve here before sharing here.
