Guitar Hero! (no, the Playstation one)

I was in Wal Mart tonight just browsing in electronics when suddenly I hear the familiar solo from Killer Queen coming from somewhere. I look and some young bloke was playing it rather nicely on something called Guitar Hero from Playstation.

Perhaps he was just playing along trying to match the notes or something, I dunno how it works but I thought I'd mention it in case I'm not the last to hear of it :-P

It looked like fun. But I know it's probably too much of a toy to interest any of you.. nevermind.

oh! i know this game! it's quite old already, and yes, killer queen was there. it's one of the easiest songs to play on there. i have the game.

btw, there's gonna be a guitar hero 2 coming out. there are rumors that another queen song will be on it. :)

btw, the Guitar Hero version of killer queen isn't sung by freddie. :(

Yeah I could tell they weren't the original versions. I'm wondering though.. does it leave out the guitar and let you play it yourself? Or are you just playing along with the guitar already recorded?

it leaves out the guitar. to hear the notes, ya gotta play the guitar console. :) it will play really soft if you don't hit the notes though. :)

best game ever, if you're a frustrated guitar player. like me. :) but, the game i like better would be timesplitters: future perfect. then again, that's another totally unrelated topic. XD

I've got this game and I played Killer Queen on it. I did the easy level no problems but I cant seem to do the medium level, its hard...I'm stuck on Killer Queen! =]]

^i have the game too! and i finished the medium level for killer queen. it's not that hard yet, but when you get to spanish castle magic onwards, it's harder. especially bark at the moon. :)

Bark at The Moon is pretty hard, but Spanish Castle Magic is easy!! :D

yeah, i know. spanish castle magic is easy, but when you're starting it's kinda hard... actually higher ground is harder than SCM..

i'll buy it anyway. you can play bass or lead guitar in that game. the first one, you can only play lead. :)
