COMPLAINT.......

i think it's about time that everyone who as moaned about no flac files being shared should start to share some,then i think others may follow.i have just learnt how to share using flac so come on all you moaners start to share i have made an effort so why can't you???????
it would prove that you have these recordings too.here goes let's see what crap i have come my way now........

Andy,lets keep our fingers crossed.The sad thing about this whole issue of FLAC and MP3 is that some of people who are being arrogant about this whole issue are the same ones who do not share.

wow, i'm a new dude here on the forums, but damn. how in the world do people complain about anything queen related?? i've searched just about every announced message on here all last night. and i can't thank you guys enough! mp3s, flacs, whatever! hell, it's a kind of magic just to hear these songs. :) seriously. it's made my day!

I'm always a step too late. Always on the search for new stuff, and as soon as I find something, someone else posts that particular show on QZ. Seems that I still haven't found the right source ...

But I always do my best by seeding and reseeding as long as possible. So should do everybody, especially the people who don't have new shows to share.

Ah, and by the way, Richfield would be great, the other 2 shows were already posted on QZ some time ago.

what's the difference between regular mp3 and flac file? isn't it the same for ear? our ears are not computer machines so they can recognize little differences in the values...

well, it is a difference,although not that remarkable, but there is... mp3 is lossy,and boots should be in highest quality possible...

If you listen on small computer speakers, then you probably won't notice the difference. But if you have a good stereo system, then you'll definitely notice. In addition to that, some mp3 encoders add a certain digital noise that can clearly be heard when comparing to the original.

The main problem is, if you share MP3 files, some people certainly will burn cds from your files and later rip them from the cd and encode them to mp3 again. This vicious circle will definitely decrease the quality of the recording.

We should always be careful to preserve the best possible quality, if we trade or share files. For your own use, there's no problem in converting files to MP3. Here on QZ it's no problem to share MP3 files, but you won't be allowed on other torrent sites.

And what's most important: But please do never encode MP3 files back to FLAC (or WAV or any other lossless format)!
