I don't speak for anybody, only myself. And I really do not understand why being Mexican has anything to do with the behaviour of one or two collectors. You made it sound like all Mexican fans behave in the same way when in fact you have an issue with the owner of the Puebla video.
I have not heard about "countless" people from Mexico who "taunted" other fans, I know about 5 or 6 Mexican fans from the hub and one (Wiley) in person and I can only say that they are all relaxed and friendly. Please remember that you insult a lot of Mexican fans when you judge them all alike.

I am not insulting all Mexican fans. Did you not read my post? I said it's people from Mexico who have done more taunting about these videos than any other video, more than anyone from any other country. I don't know how that translates to "all fans from Mexico are horrible people". I certainly didn't say that, so please don't put words in my mouth. I have spoken with nice Mexican fans myself, but the negative experiences by far outweigh the positive ones.
Since your email address isn't public, they don't have the means to contact you, and time and time again fill your inbox with pictures, samples, and false promises. Sometimes they add you to their MSN, and hook you up with a bunch of their Mexican friends, one or two of whom "knows someone" who has the complete video. Pictures are sent to establish "friendship". Negotiation ensues. Sometimes a deal is made, and they promise to send their package first. But then they disappear off the face of the earth (coincidentally, of course). I have never encountered this kind of thing with fans outside of Mexico. You haven't been through this, but I have. Consider that before you automatically stand up for people whom you haven't dealt with yourself.

I could use some support here from others, but they won't join me and speak up, because they know that the more honest we are about the way people from Mexico have been treating us over these videos, the less chances are that we'll see more footage. But I still speak up anyway because these things need to be said.

I can't believe that kind of phrase coming from someone born in fellow latinamerican country Colombia. Once again, if it was a joke, it is not a good one. If not, maybe living in the USA has clouded your reason.

Too bad some people are very narrow minded. One thing is to talk about the problems you've had with people from a certain country but the other is to fall in denigrating stereotypes. And.. news flash for you... building taller walls in the border solves NOTHING.

In all seriousness, don't take matters too much to the heart. I have a Mexican brother in law, and a soon too be Mexican niece. I do appreciate all honest Mexican people, and I can tell you for sure that by far they outnumber the dishonest ones.
If Molotov and Carlos Mencia can joke using the word "beaner", why can't I? OK, sure... I'm not Mexican, but it's just a joke about a derogatory term that racist people use constantly. Trust me, I'm Colombian and I know about derogatory terms. Yet, my apologies to anyone who felt offended.
Remember, for every "beaner" trying to make a living in the U.S., there's a "redneck gringo" whinning about having their country stolen away while he sits on his ass watching NASCAR.
...looks like now I'll have to apologize to all the white trash crackers as well.

I consider that topic that Bob (SirGH) links to a true disgrace to the name and reputation of all mexican traders. I can see that it is most likely a depiction of the actual way many mexican traders conduct themselves but I know for sure I'm not like that.
There's a bunch of cultural issues put in evidence in that post, like I've said before, and that leads to misundertandings. This doesn't rule out the posibility that there are assholes in my country, like there are those everywhere. I don't really think that the assholes per square kilometer ratio is bigger in Mexico than everywhere else. Yet, this jealous, informal and unreliable trader image is negative for the rest of us who are not like that... :S

Un an unrelated note and just to lighten up things over here, I'm seeing Shakira in concert this friday at Estadio Universitario, haha :). In 7 years that I've lived in Monterrey I only know the Rolling Stones played here in march this year and now Shakira. I don't recall any other shows in this stadium. U2 played Estadio Tecnológico, not Universitario.
It should be a great show. I know Mr Jingles should think the same about his fellow Colombian beauty Shakira, haha :). I saw her in London in Party in the Park 2002 -the show where Brian and Roger were going to play with the WWRY cast but decided against it at the last minute- and then here in Monterrey in 2003 and she knows how to put up a great show. Estadio Universitario should be a riot on friday! :D

I saw her in London in Party in the Park 2002 -the show where Brian and Roger were going to play with the WWRY cast but decided against it at the last minute- and then here in Monterrey in 2003 and she knows how to put up a great show. So I assume you don't like The Works or A Kind of Magic? haha :) Just kidding. Shakira's first album was very good, she was a very good composer and had lots of good songs. Her second album was good but I didn't listen to it as much as to the first. I haven't listened to her later releases, apart from what I've seen in videos or heard in radio. Yes, she most certainly sold out, like you say it, but she puts on a good show. It's not Queen, but it's good, haha :).
I'm only going this time because a female friend wanted to go. Then I bought several tickets to re-sell them and so my ticket was free, hehe :). No harm done to my economy.
