Weird nightclub Queen experience

So there I was out in Belfast last night hiding in the corner sipping a Guinness when this track comes bursting out of the set list

I'm almost positive it was Queen

Don't know what it was called

Lyrics went something like

"Do you wanna be my girl
Do you wanna be my honey............"

Very funky beat, Freddie singing the vocal.......

Is there a kick-ass mix going around that anybody knows about?

Self Made Man?

Yep, sounds like the bridge in Self Made Man. The short Freddie sequence, the rest is sung by brian. Strange to play that demo in a club...
Or was it just Freddie's lines in a new mix ?

All I heard was Freddie, no Brian

Very heavy, driving beat though, didn't sound like a bridge, although having said that I have never heard Self Made Man

It's very unlikely that a club plays a demo.

Indeed, someone would've taken that part of Self Made Man and put it into a new song. You know - fuck, I've been meaning to do that myself because I love that bridge!
I never bothered because there's so little there, and I didn't have an idea worth pursuing.

Hmmm. I wonder if they used the prettier quality one instead of the convention recording? Hehehe.

Now if someone goes to a club and part of Face It Alone comes on, let us know! Wow, whoever made that remix must be a huge Queen fan in order to download a demo and extract Freddie's great vocal part.
