The Darkness lead vocalist Justin Hawkins just quit the band. Thank god we won't be hearing any further songs with that horrific voice. And no more of these lame Queen comparisons.

Great.... That just makes more room for Nickelback in the mainstream.

I'd rather have a Justin Hawkins a cappella song on the radio twice an hour than another note from these Theory Of A Nickelfault type bands.

i never really minded the darkness but i cant stand Nickleback!!

I don't understand why people ignore bands who are influenced by queen or the bands from that era...i think the darkness are not bad and i much rather listen to them than some stupid mtv band with the same boring music and the same boring 3 chord songs and besides as far as i know they are gonna carry on

I don't really listen to them but I like that song "I Believe in a Thing Called Love".

I find it a shame because they sort of paved the way for bands like ours. It will be a lot harder for us now.

After reading the interview in the Sun, I really can't see how people in this thread are 'happy' with what's happened to him. Maybe they just don't know the real reason why he's quit. If not, read on and become enlightened.
