I just listened to a great Argentina Queen cover band called Diso Salve a la Reina and they are great!

Anyways, they managed to pull of a live version of Innuendo and it sounded pretty great.

You don't hear too many people in Queen covers sing that live. But can it be done live and which do you think it sounds better, live or studio version of the song,Innuendo?

Btw,I recently changed my pen name to Miracle-Man,but it doesn't appear to show on the author.
Since Queen never did it live I'd have to say the studio is the best of course. I've heard it done in full by two different tribute bands..oh yeah and those two minutes of that guy on American Idol! I admired them for trying but it just made me wish all the more that the real guys were all around to perform it. I get the feeling they would have adapted it slightly like they did for Bohemian Rhapsody live-it's an ambitious song and probably couldn't sound any better than as it appears on the album.
Well, I went to Dios Salve La Reina's concert in Rio some months ago and I'll tell you, these guys are spectacular! They're a very good band and the singer looks incredibly like Freddie... They didn't do innuendo, though, but they did a wonderful version of 'You don't fool me' (wich is a song I'm not actually mad about..)
"The years have been unkind... but kind enough!"
They did do it live at the Freddie tribute. Robert Plant on vocals.
Jeff Scott Soto did it amazingly !
i am quite shocked how good this guys are
for a cover band they kick some serious ass
and how good they sound live
i would pay to watch them, no doubt about it
