i think most people would agree freddie had a face for the camera which prob added to their mystic appeal - his mouth is always closed so makes him look more interesting.
my point is it just adds to queen - i mean look at pink floyd - they hardly look as interesting as queen, or any band for that matter.
freddie looked mysterious with long and short hair - prob cos he was fro asia so different to us white white europeans!!
also i think people get too involved in freddie about looking back on his life and the great times he had...look back on your own life and i bet you could make it sound sentimental. very easy to do it with queen music and the old images of them...1975 was a crap year - oil shocks, bet freddie just wanted to finish the album besides sitting at the piano for hours....everything looks great looking back on it - important to detach and step back
