Hi, I am here to ask a really stupid question...well perhaps not stupid to some, but it kind of silly none-the-less.
I would like to know how to send a text message. Let me clearify: I know how to send a text message to friends. What I can't figure out is how to send a text message to vote for the lucky case game on Deal or No deal.
I don't send it through the phone; I can't do that because of my vision loss. I go to Verizon's website and go to the page where I can send them.
So I put 59595 in the box and tried to send it...it didn't work. I put those numbers in again and added my lucky case number to the end of it...didn't work. How do I do it?
I tried looking for something like text messaging for dummies, but I couldn't find anything.

59595 in which box? the "Send To:" box?
this is what it says there:
"Enter up to 10 VZW #s or nicknames, separating each entry by a comma.
Ex: 9991234567, sam@vtext.com"
so if you are trying to send a message to a cellphone you must enter a valid 10 digits long phone number into the "Send to:" box, write your 160 chars. long and hit "Send" button
now if you are trying to send a message to a landline, that's another story, check here:
