youtube trouble

it seems like the last 2 days the youtube videos load up really slowly or wont let me watch more than a couple seconds...is youtube acting for anyone?

I have a slow connection, so I just walk away from the computer and wait for Youtube to finish. It can take me over an hour to download about 5 minutes worth of Youtube stuff.

Things you can do: Have you tried deleting your temporary internet files? You might just have too much stored up in there. Also, I'd check for spyware and viruses. Close other web pages and programs that might be "thinking" too hard. (I'm not an expert, but these are things I have done.) It might also be your service provider. Mine gets slow at certain times of the day (I think just too many people are on the Internet sometimes). When it slows to a halt, I sign off, then get back on and I think this puts me on a less crowded server - but I don't really know, so don't take this as the *best* advice.

Are you freaken serious? It takes you over an hour to download 5 minutes of a video?!?!?! It takes me a few seconds. Most would be only minutes! Obviously that's probably because I use a faster internet connection. But, STILL! Poor you.

I know. I live too far from the main road and so they won't run cables out here. It's dial-up or nothing.

I think Google bought Youtube the other day. Let´s see what´s going to happen next!

I just did a "speed" test. It took me 7 minutes to get 47 seconds of Youtube. So at that speed I could get 5 minutes of Youtube in about 45 minutes. That's not so bad.

I can relate. I live in the country, and it takes around an hour to do one minute. :( Oh well, at least I have a computer...
