didn't they release an album in the US back when Freddie was with them? or am i thinking of Wreckage? i'm interested in finding Sour Milk Sea tracks and thought that they had an album released in the US but it flopped...

Unfortunately, Sour Milk Sea never recorded anything.

and where could i obtain the Ibex/Wreckage recordings? i have dial up, and i've tried to download Limewire but after 4 hours of it downloading and it was only at 20% i gave up.
