Vocals Cuts from "Sheer Heart Attack"

Here's the first of 3 albums worth of cuts that I've not posted courtesy of Rapidshare.de closing down and not having the decency to email anyone about rapidshare.com! Many Thanks to A Bunny Named Bubbles & Mr Mercury for letting me know about it!!

As usual, some tracks work better than others, but the filters used really bring the piano and backing vocals out a lot.
Now I'm here is outstanding!

For the three tracks that merge into one another, you'll have to convert them back to wav and burn normally to a CD with no gaps.

May I ask how you've done these? Is it a simple vocal cut filter or something more elaborate that is your own making?

I just don't want to download something I know I can do myself.

Sounds like you have used Adobe Audition on these files. Am I correct?

Hmmm. Trade secrets....

adobe audition.
use surround swap, then center channel extracter set to vocal cut.
Sometimes Lr-mid side works well before surround swapping etc, but the above 2 processes are the basics.
Sometimes it works to play about with the actual settings of these options.

done a bit of tweaking on some songs purely by messing about - but don't ask which - I've done too many to remember.
