Bush gamely pressed on with lacerating attacks on Democrats at that Pensacola rally of 7,000 loud supporters. "The Democrat philosophy is this: If it breathes, tax it, and if it stops breathing, find its children and tax them," Bush shouted.

Just thought I'd enlighten everyone with this wonderful bit of news.

I still find it remarkable that he said the democrates can't continue the safety of the country... since when did the country get save while Bush was in the White house?

Which just proves my point about politics. There is no accountability....once you get re-elected, to hell with whatever you promised. Besides, Bush isn't known for keeping his word. Yes, that's a Bush bash, but NO politicans keep their word ever, so I'm not being anti-Bush here.
Makes me kinda glad that I "threw away" my vote for govorner by voting for a third party. The politicans don't count anyway....it was only the proposals I really wanted to vote on.

You got it, CMU. No politician. Nothing changes. I just voted for Kinky Friedman for Governor, but I know what the outcome will be.
In 3 years, we'll be writing the same stuff, just changing the names.

I'm actually a bit disgusted at the tactics used by the republican party lately. I dunno, I wish the US Gov't was less about politics, and more about doing what is ethical. I am waiting for TQ to jump all over this post...
