After 10 years I watched the montreal '81 gig yesterday which appears on the we will rock you dvd and I noticed something cool which I didn't 10 years ago.
Just before the band plays 'Keep yourself alive' A little riff/intro can be heared. The melody and the rythem and even a bit of the lyrics sound like back chat. That's really cool. I guess they were working on ideas for the new album already

The Back Chat riff is also played during the Japan 1981 tour (one or more shows) and that's way before the two Montreal-gigs. So yeah, there were already busy with some new ideas for a forthcoming album. Also parts of Under Pressure can be heard in one of the two Puebla 1981 shows.
