I think he has done a shit load more than Elton John... But then Elton was doing it solo... Look, they are looking at putting Beckam up there there with night hood... If thats the case.... i really couldnt give shit if Brian gets it or not. If there dropping it down to the level that beckam is at, then the value has lots it meaning. Sir Michael Caine has even said that beckam is to young. Im sure it would be a great honour for Brian but big deal when the other people getitng the honour are just getting them handed out to them. This is nothing against Beckams talent or what ever, but for a life time, he's just done sports, he's not chnaged the world.. maybe the world of hair salons, but not a great deal more.

I myself have wondered for quite some time why Brian has not been considered, or if he HAS, why he is yet to be bestowed this honour?

Surely the deeds he has done has more then qualified him.

Unfortunately I dont think the Kinghthood is going to happen. I think Brian has become increasingly Political in his views, views which he is entitled to, but views which will upset the people in power who make these decisions.

Also look at who in the Music Industry has received a title, Paul Macartney, Cliff Richard, Elton John, Mick Jagger, Tom Jones the list is very select. I am sure that we will be seeing the likes of Sir Rodney Stewart and Sir Eric Clapton, long before we see Sir Brian.
