Burning DVD's (Live Killers?)

hey all, i finally managed to get the first disc of smitty's live killers gift.

my question is, what do i need to do to watch them and burn them to dvd? being in .vob format

do i just create a data dvd with those files or what?

in nero slect make a dvd video....copy the files across and hey presto!!!

do you have to use nero? i just got a brand new compyter and dont want to mess it up by downloading a bunch of stuff right away

i can't see how nero will mess ouy rpc up...it's a tried and trusted cd/dvd burning app
