She was my lover It was a shame that she died But the constitution´s right on my side Cos I cought my lover in my neighbours bed I got retribution, filled´em full of lead
...which is capital of Slovenia... (though it was Yugoslavia in those days)
In fact, that (and not Budapest) was Queen's first forray behind the Iron Curtain. But to the best of my knowledge the show has not been recorded or filmed.

- I think s.m. was pointing out that theCro got the year wrong, and is well aware that Ljubljana is in Slovenia (as it is now).

My reply was an addition to his reply, for the people who doesn't know what's the difference between Slovakia and Slovenia for instance.
Btw, what ever happened to that NO-SHOW user who claimed they were going to have all these Zagreb '79 pics?? I have been looking forward to them :(
Hello you rock and rollers!
Yugoslavia was a socialist country, but was not a member of the "Warsaw Pact".

I think there was a "bit" more day by day liberty there, than in other communist countries at the same time, which were under the (indirect) control of the USSR .

Was that pedantic or what?

I meant the country, not the particular date. Boo-hoo!

Nothing from this concerts was ever released.
There are some rumours that maybe some parts find their way to the "Live Killers" album.

The shows seem to be recorded for this album and I guess they spent their days in the archives because Greg Brooks write a lot about the audience and Freddies contact to them in his book "Queen-Live". I´m sure he wasn´t there so he must have listen to a recording.

It's true (for younger readers) that Yugoslavia always had a different sort of status from other Eastern countries.

People from the West went there on holidays for example.
