Dutch singer Stevie Ann enters the dutch charts with a cover of One year of love.

I think she raped it....the bitch ;)
Well, the first time she played it, it was spontanious, live on a radio show. That was great.
But I agree that I find it not strong enough a rendition to be a 'serious' single...

(I do grant her a big hit though! ;-)

You don't like the new queen songs? ;)

I heard it some weeks ago, thought it wasn't too bad. Nice background music.
I like it.
We love you Mandy!

I really love the 46664 version of that song. It was better than the version they played at the concerts IMO.

Nope, The Call. xD
We love you Mandy!
She also did a Britney Spears song once on Giel Beelen's show. I think it was 'Slave'.
Sounded nice.
btw, during the commercialbreak on RTL-7 this afternoon(A1 GP), this cover of OYOL was played on the backgound.
I don't like covers normally, but this sounded nice.
At this very moment I'm downloading the live radioversion from Limewire.

The reason why many Queenfans dislike this song is that it doesn't sound like a Queensong. The saxsolo for instance isn't anything like Queen.
I always liked the song, when I bought the record in 1986 me and my girlfriend used to make out on my bedroom listening to this song. Nowadays it's romantical yought sentiment.
We must all see to believe...
...and ofcourse Freddie's voice is amazing on this song!

LOL! it was a great summer:) I love the song!! Brings also back memories of my summer in France. Where they played Highlander at the campingsite before it was in the cinemas in the NL. Love absolutely Freddies voice!!

And... The song was great in the movie!!
Sheit - my first 'real' love dumped me and right after that this song came on...
(Who still believes that coincidence does not excist??)

Couldn't stand to hear it for YEARS - but I'm over it now ;-)
