Hi this is my first mix it's of one of my fave songs Love Of My Life. Freddie's vocal parts are taken from Live Killers and Brian's vocal parts are taken from Return Of The Champions. the little guitar intro after Freddie's little speech is from Live at the Brixton Academy.

Here is a better version than the one above as on the above the change between the different sources is to clear because of audience noise whereas on this one it isn't that noticeable.As the audience noise from both concerts merge together.
on this one i again used the opening speech from the 2003 update of Live Killers but this time all of it. Freddie's vocal parts are this time from the original release of Live at Wembeley '86 as they sound clearer and are around the same volume as Brian's and the song is pretty much the same speed. Brian's vocal parts are again from Return of the Champions as is the litle guitar intro instead of Live at the Brixton Academy.
So this is my second mix please leave feedback on this one as i think it's better than the first one i'd like to know your oppinions thanx

The sound on Freddie's part starts a bit too bassy and was turning to mud on my speakers with Brian's playing. Also there was a phasing sound almost all the way throughout the track.
Edit at 2:01 is a bad fade-in. But now the sound isn't as bassy or muddy.
Edit at 2:33 is the same as above. Now the sound really clears up. But unfortunately badly compressed for some reason. Especially noticeable when Brian comes back in to sing.
Edit at 3:49 is badly timed for coming back in has the same fade-in thing as the above two.

PS: Ever thought of "releasing" a third mix... allthough the second one is close to perfection imho?!

Nice addition from Brian's chat.
Smoother fade into Freddie's bit after Brian's opening guitar. Shame that mp3 compression gets in the way again as Freddie comes in.
Edit at 1:21 was too noticeable as it falls on a key part of Brian's rhythm and obviously the two crowds are so different anyway. Hard to win.
2:07 edit would be perfect except I'm totally aware that Brian's guitar went from smooth and full-bodied to thin and treble-y.
EDIT at 3:55 is awful AGAIN! Did you miss it from the first time?? I can't believe you left that in as it's so blatant.
What you have is pretty good, but it's an edit too far that will not marry easily. No matter how good you are.
i'm working on a new mix trying to put right the things that you pointed out thanx for that i'll let you know how it goes.

i've finished my third mix i'll upload it as soon as i've finished the video i'm working on to go with it. i've left my original idea of having freddie and brian onstage together as i couldn't get the angles to work properly and the shots wern't the same size. so my video will just be a simple transition between wembley and return of the champions.
