hot space and younger queen fans?

i'm a huge fan of queen and this album i love it,never get tired of it,my favorite one of song of that album will be "cool cat"i love listening everytime,
the rest of the songs are great too:-)

I'm 21 (this is my first post!).

I like Hot Space very much, particularly after having seen the "Live at the Bowl". Some songs are better in their live version, e.g. "Action this days" but I quite like all of them also in the studio version.

I forgot to mention that I'm 25 at the moment. I was 10 years old when I listened to Hot Space for the fist time and loved it. It rarely comes out of my car's CD player. I just like driving to its beat, it's great!

I don't think I ever listen to it at home, by the way, but I don't listen to most Queen albums at home at the moment... mostly Queen live recordings and other artist's albums.

I'm 18 and I have to say that I've always liked Hot Space. I got the album while I was living in France my senior year of high school and it was one of those that I would listen to in my room and sing along do a few of those little dances that nobody else is supposed to see.
All of the songs are fun to sing along to and I really like the beats even if they are mostly synthesizer. I could see that people didn't think it was great but I could never see why people thought it was crap. It isnt my favorite album but I don't dislike it by any means.

I think the younger fans like this album more than the older ones. that's pretty obvious to me. I bought this album just to finnish off my collection back in the day, and took me over a year to listen to this album from start to finish. Eventually it did grow on me, and now I listen to HS almost as much as vintage queen (70's). My personal favorites are back chat, life is real, cool cat and under pressure. Staying power and action are good studio songs but are masterpieces live. I also think this album could have been a classic if these songs were a bit heavier (live at the bowl style) and maybe improve some of the lyrics to staying power and put out the fire.

I know a few people who saw them in 1982 and they said queen were amazing, and freddie's voice was tremendous. One of these people said they saw the last ever NY appearance.

I'm 23, and I've loved 'Hot Space' since my first listen. I have never had a clue what made people dislike it so strongly.

im 12 and i like Hot Space it was the first LP i brought the 2nd was Jazz 3rd was Greatest Hits and so on

I'm 13 and love the hot space album, I haven't actually got it but I've heard all the songs on it. I really love Las Palabras de Amor.

Well, I'm 28, but I think "Hot Space" has its moments. I like it.

I think so too. If Queen were a 90s, 00s, and 2010s band, instead of 70s, 80s, 90s... the Hot Space stuff would sell well now!
