Just wanted to say that I received my copy of 'Bang!' in the mail today...

WOW! - it's all I can say right now.

I highly recommend everyone buy a copy.

How's the PhD coming along smileexpert? ;)
Astronomy is intriguing, I grant that. As a Queen fan, however, I take an interest in Brian May, the guitar player; not Brian May, the astronomer. I'm not going to buy this book just because Brian preaches it's glory over and over and over on his website. Brian can't seem to find enough good things to say about his own projects!
"In the quiet of the night, let our candle always burn, let us never lose the lessons we have learned." -Teo Torriatte
The one time I saw it in bookshops, these little kids seemed to be mesmorised by the front cover ha ha ha! It is pretty cool though
"Either this kid has a lightbulb up his ass or his colon has a great idea"
When I saw the title I thought it was a discussion about the two CD websites Bang and Wow!
"Build your muscles as your body decays!"

likewise. i love brian, i love him as a guitar player, im taking astronomy next year so if i need it for the class id get it but other than that....eh.
why pay the visit when the visit is free? "this shitty guitar wont play what i want! it only knows three chords!"
Awww come on guys....this book is fantastic stuff!

It is well worth checking out, the pix alone make it worth the cover price.

If you live in London, Bri will be doing a book signing locally the first week in December.

Check out the details on his website:

I was considering the book, but seeing this kind of enthusiasm makes me sick, so I changed my mind.

Tell you what I'd buy though.. an audio book version, or perhaps an in-depth video presentation.. either featuring Brian. I love hearing & seeing him. (talking about anything other than boring Queen shit)

Perhaps he could even record some cool background music eh?
