I didn't really like the version from 'Rock Honors'. It didn't feel right to me...

Paul's version of Champions has grown on me, just like his "Fat bottomed girls" and a couple of others. I still have to listen to a bad performance by Paul Rodgers. His voice seems great on every Q+PR recording. But, then again, I've listened to LOTS of more Queen bootlegs to know Freddie had GREAT nights that blew Paul away but he also had some terrible nights (Works Tour?).

^I'll be honest, I love it when Paul Rodgers sings a Queen song. He has that vibe that you just can't deny, his voice is very soothing. However, as any Queen fan would agree, I'd rather see Freddie up their with Queen rockin' out to We Are The Champions. Besides, it was his song to begin with.

And I have to agree with the people who say that Freddie had some off nights...lots of them. However, to me Freddie was able to hold an audiences attention a hell of a lot better. For instance, I find myself watching older Queen concerts rather than the Queen+Paul Rodgers concert DVD. Then again, what Queen fan would rather watch Paul than Freddie fronting Queen?

No one...I'd hope to think!
