I don't get the joke. It's probably just me being stupid, but I'll be honest and admit it.

Probably you need to know A'Dam a little bit to see. All the buildings mentioned took an awful long time to build, because they were awfully big and complex. The bragging Southerner is finally confronted with a building that took six years to build, but the taxi driver outbrags him by claiming it wasn't there yesterday, so it must've been built during the night or something.

As I suspected. I did get the gist of the joke, but it must be certain intricacies that just didn't get across to me. Despite this, I actually did enjoy it. The Uncle "gets served." Hard.

Am I the only one more excited at the prospect of being where *dinosaurs* used to roam?

Oh well!

I didn't know you were in the Cretaceous Era lately?

Who cares what the hell it costs as long as it's open next year. It'll still be the best sports and live gig venue in Britain when it's finished. I hope!!!

I believe, based on fossil comparisons, there are some species in Australia said to be almost unchanged since that era. However, I would be more likely to believe that Zebonka is somehow a creature of the future. Possibly he has even (in the past in the future) roamed the beautiful grounds of the new Wembley. Ahhh....
ive just got this feeling that its gonna end up like a concrete britney spears..its gonna look nice after a massive makeover but you know its gonna be skanky as hell once you get inside

Today it was announced that Muse will play at the new Wembley stadium in 2007.

At this moment, it seems like they will be the first band to do so.

There's nothing wrong with either Manchester or Birmingham for gigs. But there is something special about Wembley and I hope the arena keeps up that tradition. Where I live I'm smack in the middle between Manchester & Liverpool. Birmingham is only 2 hours away so gigs in those places are easy to get to. But Wembley does it for me every time.
