Has anyone met Freddie and/or seen Queen + Freddie in concert?

I asked this question on another thread but no one replied. I'd love to hear about your experiences if you've met him or seen him ever! I was only 2 when he died so I've never had a chance.

My dad's friend Kevin saw Queen in 1976-ish or something. Whatever the Night at the Opera tour-thing was. I don't know about that stuff.

He said it started with Freddie in silhouette with that corresponding part of "Bohemian Rhapsody".

If he said something else, I kinda forgot. I think he forgot too, so it's okay.

I'm about your age - so the best thing I have personally is several odd dreams that happened after I stayed up too late eating goldfish. For instance, Freddie was a cold-hearted jerk who would not give money to save the porpoises and he liked it quiet in the car so he could hear the music that was playing - and he was "framed" for killing Mary Austin who it turns out, wasn't even dead.

I had a dream once that Freddie was actually a cocky son of a bitch. He wasn't nice at all...;_;

He treated me like crap. It was a wierd dream, but it was just a dream.

I had a dream that me and Freddie were running from Burt Reynolds who was trying to kill us. But it was fun. Good times.....

Freddie was Super Mario on one of my dreams.......Bowser was being played by Paul McCartney......Maybe I should lay off the italian cheese before bedtime.....

i saw the band on sept5th 84 at wembley arena i was in the 4th row and there was a hole in the roof and the rain kept dripping on me! i didnt see the finale coz i had to get across london to catch the last train back home.the support act were awful,they were called general public.best gig i ever saw though,coz it was freddies birthday he was in fine form and drenched me and my mate with the champagne.me and my mate bunked off school to see them.

You are soooo lucky! Oh my gosh! I'd give my right arm for Freddie to pour champagne on me!

i was 14 at the time but being 6ft 6in the champers hit me first before splashing onto my mate.its not the only time ive had a drink thrown at me but easily the most enjoyable :-}

its hard to explain the rush i felt when he came on stage,like having all your air sucked out of your body but you dont mind it at all.
it started with the giant wheels at the back turning round to the opening to machines and the dry ice and smoke.
its been 22 years and im still getting goosebumps just recalling it.just completely mesmerising and they did a blinding version of saturdays allright for fighting.
everyone knew they were watching something magical.
it was like having 100 birthdays and christmas' rolled into 2 hours

i havent seen q+pr so i cannot comment on that but when i saw brian at hammersmith on his back to the light tour it didnt have the same buzz as the 84 concert.bloody loud though,i was deaf for days after that{thanks to cozy powell}!
the tribute concert was just pure emotion.you knew it was an end of an era.

Saw Freddie and Queen in 3 times in concert. Saw Brian May once. Absolutely awesome.
