Comparing Kiss to Chopin is a little much. Chopin may not be the BEST composer ever, but he's a damn sight better than anyone in Kiss.

In the context of comparing musicianship with rock bands that have had some sort of sucess in the last 40 years-
Gene is probably an average bass player
Paul is a slightly above average singer
Ace is capapble of extraordinary guitar playing (though often times he allows showmanship to overshadow his ability)
Peter is well below average drummer, often times bordering on horrible in concert
That being said, they were a fun band (with original members) to see in concert...once. Queen (with either Freddie or Paul) is a concert I would like to see again and again...

Peter is an excellent drummer! Gene is an ok bass player, Paul is drop dead beautiful and Ace is awesome!
