I like Manilow, at times. If I'm depressed enough and only with his 70s stuff. I'm getting tired of him and Rod Stewart doing all these cover albums.. not that I'm forced to listen, but I keep seeing the ads everywhere. It just screams 'has been'.

I really think Barry should come out. I KNOW he's gay. I've always thought it strange that nobody seems to care about his sexuality.. all these wacky female fans of his.. if only they realized. While it might not change the world and indeed perhaps nobody cares.. it never hurts for a celebrity to come out.. their fans who might be bigoted could change their ways..

I understand imdb mentions one brief marriage which was anulled :-P

I love Barry Manilow!!! I have memories of my aunt sitting on the floor in front her record player crying to his songs.

I do agree that his plastic surgery is pretty rancid but I do think he is very talented and I enjoy his songs. I'm weird I guess.

Hey.. I like Barry Manilow.. of course it was an aquired taste for me.. I had to grow into it.. the only reason I started to listen to him at the time was because this girl I liked really liked him.. so in order to gain her.... well.. respect.. (HA) I started to listen to him.. of course she was too stuck up and wouldnt even give me the time of day..

odd.. now that I think of it.. she made it with the entire school.. except me.. she said I was a special person that didn't deserve to be used like that..

ok.. once again I am making that up.. but she did blow me off like I was last weeks news..
