That's a great idea for trustworthy fans, but the potential for abuse is awfully high. Guess it can't hurt to try though :-P

i personally share mp3 files but anyone that wants to can post flac files (shn are fine, ogg are fine, just please not APE files (i just dont like them one bit)).
i'll be constantly uploading things, about a new concert every week or so.

Change the permissions so that people can't delete from the server.

Proper e-mail addy's to(from their ISP)....none of this yahoo or g-mail tuppence ha'penny crap

All you need to keep it secure is Peer2Mail software - http://www.peer2mail.com I use it a few times and it's a best way to upload and download big files from email accounts. It creates encrypted password which you share with people, they can login only using P2M and they can not delete files. Uploading goes with your own account (auto merge big files) so login isn't necessary.
