The 'know it all' mindset isn't something you can talk someone out of, it... requires personal evolution of a kind.

I'll put it into the only vocabulary I understand - when I was about 16 (and this is only a few years ago) I pretty much felt I knew everything there was about guitar, right? Well, a couple of years go by, and I'm a lot better, and then I think I know it all.... and it goes on. A few years later, I listen back to myself back then and I smack my face - "what the fuck was I thinking?"

The best way, I think, to live life is by assuming you know nothing :) You will always be learning, and always be pleasantly surprised.
