This is because I would view my album as a complete work, and having a person just download the most popular song(s) off of it would give them a very superficial view of the entire product that I want you to hear. It's like I painted a painting with a variety of colors that each were significant to the work, and people just wanted to buy it in black and white because it's cheaper that way.

U218 is actually a compilation of hits which the average U2 fan quite possibly owns already.
This is the main reason why I was so pissed off at the fact that people would have to buy 15 songs they already have just to get the 3 new ones. Which makes it even more stupid is the fact that all the old hits can be downloaded individually, but not the new ones.
