Does anyone know if there will be an official 2007 calendar out? I usually order mine round about this time of year, but can find no mention of one even on google. I'm getting rather worried!

(Sorry if this subject has been posted before, I did try searching first...)
There is no official calender this year, I emailed Jacky at the Fan Club and she told me that there will not be one produced this year. Shame really.
No official year 2007 then... ???

Well, have a nice Xmas everyone... see you in 2008!
Shoot for the moon... even if you fail you will land among the stars!
That`s just ridiculous, not producing the calender that is.
what I would like to know is why stop now? they have been producing them all of these years.

I'm sorry hun, but I disagree. I have gotten the official calendars for the past two years. I was pleased with the quality of the calendars and the fact that they treated each of the members equally (2 photos of EACH of them solo and 4 photos of the entire band.)

This year, I bought two of the "unofficial" calendars and they both primarily feature Freddie (as if the rest of the guys are just his back-up band). This may be fine for those to whom Freddie is their favorite band member, but I personally resent the implication that the other members are not as important to Queen's success as Freddie. On the other hand, I liked the fact that the photos are quite large and the calendar part is very small. Great for hanging on one's wall. If only they had treated the whole band equally. . .

Perhaps they included some PR pics and pulled it at the last minute, fearing backlash from fans :-P

Why could they not release an official Queen Calender For 2007 and an official Queen + Paul Rodgers Calender for 2007

has it not occurred that any business stops producing stuff that doesn't make a profit...perhaps they just didn't sell enough last few years

Yeah, I agree. I liked the official ones because there were just as many pictures of Brian as there were of Freddie!
