Hi, I'm Charles and I believe I was going to ride my bicycle to New Jersey to see Half of Queen + Paul Rodgers. But then they came to Detroit. So I didn't have to do anything that strenuous.

I don't live in Detroit... I live in a very small town - 2,000 people. But I've found there are more "Queen Fans" here than I would have known about if I wasn't such an ass... I mean, delightfully insightful person. After commandeering a computer and playing some of Queen II, I was asked, "Is that Queen ?" ... "Really !?" ... "Wow ! I love Queen !".
A friend also asked for just a copy of "Bohemian Rhapsody" (since they have a GH thingy... which does not have that song) - and I gave her "A Night at the Opera" - she really, really, likes it.
Since "The 80s" became popular, I've had the opportunity to tell people that "Bohemian Rhapsody" was recorded in the 70s (at least... the original Queen version-thingy).
I don't know... I have plenty of friends that don't like Queen. I have a friend whose brother stopped listening to Queen when he found out "Freddie went gay". Then I got called a hippie for expressing my views on the topic (it was all comedic, though - I tend to go into "make people laugh" mode when confronted with a situation like that).
