What do we think of KISS?

I recently bought their debut album and I have to say after listening to that album I have realised that KISS are a very decent rock band.
We all know what they look like but do we all know what they sound like apart from me?
In other words is anyone else a fan of KISS?

....I'm a casual listener...but I don't really like them that much. But as you yourself said, they are "decent". Queen is MUCH better though. =P

Musically, they're pretty marginal. The Marketing Department needs to be commended on this band.

Lyrically, with such literary masterpieces as:
"I was made for lovin' you baby, you were made for lovin' me"

You gotta be kidding, right? I was 11 and they were wearing clown makeup and spitting blood. You think I had good taste in music then? Thank God for Queen!

Perhaps it's a result of the (false) Queen + Kiss rumour Serry.

I reckon Kiss are a decent band. They're not one of my favourites, but I really dig God of Thunder.

A couple of few rocking tunes, but nothing more than a sad excuse for late 70s pre-teens to come across as rebels.

I really hate them. There's nothing fantastic about them and they're sellouts. I don't get it.
