Other bands

Hi y'all!!

Anyway, I know that we all love Queen, but what other bands do you all like? I personally like most classic rock bands from the 60s and 70s (except for the Rolling Stones) such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Sweet and The Who. I also like some American bands such as Foreigner, Journey, and System of a Down.

I don't really care for modern music at all (except for System of a Down).

I like almost all the bands you listed except that I like the rolling stones as well. The Beatles Rock :D

I dig the Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Abba and Blondie!! Also like Pink Floyd and of course worship the Beatles!!

Oh, and I like Abba, I forgot to mention them.

I love everything from Neil Diamond to Iron Maiden and everything else inbetween (and I mean everything, besides rap and hip hop there ain't much I won't listen to). My music taste is broader than Mr Blobby in a bakery

Apart from Queen I love all the other "classic rock" stuff: Led Zep of course, Pink Floyd - sheer genius, even the early Genesis, as they satisfy my little Prog-Fetish... ;-)
Sometimes I like things a bit jazzy, like Steely Dan and the odd bit of Miles Davis.
From the contemporary ones Radiohead (see PF...)is high on the list.

I also enjoy many bands from lots of genres-Zeppelin is the only band I rate over Queen, but I also love the Beatles. After that, Pink Floyd, The Who, Stones (1978 and earlier), Tori Amos, most "grunge" bands, the Pretenders, Mellencamp, THE CLASH!, the under-appreciated Ian Hunter/Mick Ronson, Doors and I'd be curious to know if anyone is familiar with a gothic band called Type O Negative? Really heavy metal is not my usual choice, but these guys from Brooklyn are very humorous as well as have good songs.

Pink Floyd, The Police, old Van Halen, Dada, Audioslave. All great bands in their own right.

Sorry! Sorry I'll leave people who differ in taste from me alone!!! phew sorry :P. Anyways I love the Stones, Thin Lizzy, Led Zepplin, the Who, U2 and Muse are great too!! Steely Dan are a pretty cool band too, great bluesy jazzy feel to 'em.
