Does anybody write stories or poems?

i want to know, like, where the best publishing company is or does anyone know of one.?.?.?.?.......

There are plenty of online journals. If this is your first time, that might be the way to go.

Unless you want to go the self-publishing route.

I write sins, not tragedies

I write stories, some poems (though they're totally awful), fanfiction, and I'm busy attmepting ot write a book. I don't know anything about actual publishers, but if you write fanfiction www.fanfiction.net is a good place to look.

I'd do as someone else said, self publishing or online journaling. If it gets good response, think about going bigger publishing wise. I'm not sure if this is still true, but I think that if you stick the piece to be published in an envelope (or similar apparatus), and then send it to yourself, that might give you a copyright (to be safe).

thats what i did.fortunately i was my own postman so i didnt piss myself off by posting over 100 song lyrics,and no im not gonna share them here.

I happen to be a quite good writer myself. I've written some stuff that i just jam away to on the guitar. It's quite good i feel, however someday i hope to make it as the next 'freddie mercury' so i won't be sharing them here.

There has to be loads of good writers out there? Right?
