Thanks to everyone who left feedback on the samples I posted. This is my restoration/remaster of the Golders Green gig in 1973. As I said on my last upload (Nagoya 82), I did this for my own use, so if you don't like it please don't download it. All that has been done is equalisation and correction of levels between L&R channels, with limiting to bring the thing up to zero. Feel free to comment, and enjoy! Oh, and I'd appreciate any help on where I may have gone wrong on the info file. All the best, Stark

13 September 1973
Venue: Golders Green Hippodrome
City: London
Country: UK
Quality: EX
Lineage: "Queen Will Be Crowned" (Digital Queen Archives) silver->EAC->WAV->FLAC (Flac frontend level 8)->WAV->Har-bal->Wavelab->FLAC (Flac frontend Level 8)
Tracklist:
1. Introduction/Procession
2. Father To Son
3. Son And Daughter
4. See What A Fool I've Been
5. Ogre Battle
6. Band Introduction
7. Liar
8. Jailhouse Rock/Stupid Cupid/Be Bop A Lula/Shake Rattle And Roll/Jailhouse Rock (Reprise)
9. Big Spender/Bama Lama Bama Loo

Comment: This comes directly from the Queen Will Be Crowned silver, the quality is the best around. Freddie sounds a little bit distant on the songs before the rock'n'roll medley but that's not due to the recording. This is also the first soundboard recording and the first recording of Queen live around.
DO NOT SHARE THIS IN ANY FORM OF LOSSY FORMAT (WHICH MEANS MP3, WMA, OGG ETC.) Convert to lossy only for personal use. If this gets shared in any form of lossy format I will stop sharing. Lineage should always be included as information in trades.

**This recording was restored by Stark in January 2007 using Har-bal equalisation. Levels between L&R channels were corrected, and a Waves L2 Limiter was used to bring levels back up to the top. No dynamic range was lost. Many thanks to the original uploader. **

Thank you for remastering and posting this show. This has always been one of my favourite shows and you have made it sound even better.

Just did a quick search on what you used to remaster this with and it looks pretty professional, no wonder it sounds so darn good! I wish I had your equipment and ears!

Thanks much...any chance of someone uploading this to RapidShare for those of us locked behind a campus firewall, i.e. unable to download torrents?
I loved the sound on your samples - an impressive job.
