That's real humour!
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
Happy New Year, Greg! I think you will get to work on some really interesting projects this year. Keep us up to date, please!
ok.computer...

You are a first rate arsehole with no redeaming features or even a sense of humour. I pity you.

I imagine you and and zebonka12 get on well together - you are both as dull and completely predictable as each other.

You couldn't be impartial or balanced about me or anything to do with me, if your life depended on it. You only look for something shitty to say EVERY time, because you think with a huge chip on your shoulder. You are VERY tedious Mr.

I don't mind people having a go at me... I'm used to it on this site from everyone who follows the lead of the person before them, like automatons, like clones, but you are ALWAYS so utterly predictable. Never anything original or refreshing or thought-provoking from you. Seriously... not ever. Can't you at least try sometimes??? Can't you at least think about this aspect of yourself? Give it serious thought and maybe see the truth in it.

Try to be something, ANYTHING in fact, other than dull and... that word again, but it is the most fitting for you.... predictable.

Hi Donna.

Same to you.

(Belly Laugh. No really, a big one)

For a man who's every post consists of 'stop being predictable', I find your thrilling essay on predictability to be a little..... stale, hypocritical. Possibly even amusing!

Yawn Factory. Population = You.
Hey Zebonka12... who said of himself...

I have a great sense of humour. You're not funny, that's all.

Chummer... that is not for you to say. It's for other people to assess, you vane bugger. You just love yourself, pal!!!

You are one of those people that believes yourself to be good looking, funny and irresistable to all females, in addition to your "great soh" aren't you!!! We can all imagine it. And you have many mirrors in your home.

Talk about ego! And kidding one's self.

Wakey wakey pal....back to the real world asap.

"Chummer... that is not for you to say. It's for other people to assess, you vane bugger."

Well... there's a number of them that agree. But I'll ignore that for a moment!

"You just love yourself, pal!!!"

Oh I love 'bits' of myself. I'm a realistic type of person Greg, there are bits of me I can't stand!

"You are one of those people that believes yourself to be good looking, funny and irresistable to all females, in addition to your "great soh" aren't you!!! We can all imagine it. And you have many mirrors in your home."

I have... one mirror. And I avoid it strenuously.

I sure love bantering with you Greg, but this unadulterated fiction you seem to spit out like a sewer hole... it has to stop!
Well it doesn't really... whatever tickles your pasty white fancy I guess.

"Talk about ego! And kidding one's self.

Wakey wakey pal....back to the real world asap."

Oh... oh I am! I greatly enjoy my passtimes, the people I share them with, and quite often find a quiet moment to enjoy the finer things like a sunset or the odd afternoon nap.

I never said I was irresistible to women :P NOW who's making shit up??

I hope you don't still receive its kiss!

After such a love as this?? No way!

Actually one of my favourite passtimes is trying to figure out what the hell Roger is singing during the 2nd 'lost' verse. I can get most of it, but there are a couple of words that still evade me.

You couldn't be impartial or [SNIP] etc etc into a rant probably written under the influence of gin, which as usual, demonstrates piss-poor sentence structure, endless whining, an avoidance of the original question which I posted almost two years ago, and a shotgun blast of diatribic shite which meanders on with about as much consistency as a Greg Books book.

Predictable. A good word. Here's how it's a good word.

15 Jan 2007.
"Greg" was asked when, when are you going to be finished. No sensible answer.

6 February 2006 - ditto

27 May 2006 - ditto

25 May 2006 - ditto

several times throughout July - ditto

December 2005 - ditto

The list predictably goes on with predictably enough, no answers.

Well what can I say? I'll keep it brief and mono-syllabic for the target audience. (That's you, by the way...anyone who spells "vain" as "vane" needs all the help they can get.)

I certainly have no sense of humour when a grown man like you spends so much time in here when he should be working at getting those mythical box sets out to the punters.

There's nothing original in what I post in response to you because I - like many others - have only one, very simple request...

Where the fuck is the material you "say" you are working on?

Now over to you to do something original - provide us with some answers.

What is there in these archives?
When will we see it?

I have a feeling, that there is very little. How else are managing to spend so much time in here, when you should be wiping the sweat from your baldy little brow working hard to produce that which we have waited YEARS for...?

The time lapse is utterly ridiculous. I'd love to see the project turnaround time for the Beatles' Anthologies...Dylan's Bootleg stuff...The Who's Maximum R'n'B (an excellent, highly recommended package), the Zepplin Remasters, etc. It's never going to match the years you have strung this out for.

You can keep your pity - put your efforts into getting the work done. It's what you've been paid for.

Mind you, if inserting the phrase "Property of Queen Productions" over everything and releasing error-tastic Queen Concert books is the height of it, I think we might have a long wait...
"Just tryin' to have a little fun, folks..."
"The Who's Maximum R'n'B (an excellent, highly recommended package)"

DAMN RIGHT.

As best as I can make it out...

"I used to deck out affection,
Jump in with my cheap guitar
I must've lost my direction,
Cause I ended up a superstar
One night in the ballroom,
*something* by the human race,
You can learn from my mistakes,
But you're posing in the glass again (?)
Well who are you" etc.
DAMN haha, that's actually better than mine :

"I used to check my reflection
jumping with my pink guitar
I must've fucked my direction
'cos I ended up a superstar.
One night I was in the boardroom
Petrified the human race
You can learn from my mistakes
but you're posing in the glass again".

See, mine made no sense at all! Hahaha.

Actually, the only part of yours that doesn't make sense is the pink guitar line; everything else actually sounds about right. "Boardroom" makes more sense than "ballroom", because the song was about Pete's disgust with a lengthy meeting where he received a million dollars for the publishing rights to some of his songs. Needless to say, I'll never get understand the sixth line -- Roger's voice is just too garbled for me to decipher.
Hahaha,
Well the posing in the glass thing sounds as close as anything else... I was going to perform the song at TAFE using the alternate verse actually. Just for a laugh!
