No, it's not Paris 2-27-79. It is taken from "The Champions" video, and NOBODY knows what shows they are from. Most of the songs on that video were dubbed with the Live Killers audio. In these particular files, the speech has been added in there, as an attempt to disguise the tracks. Very poorly done.

I'm quite sure some songs are from Paris 2-27-79.
Freddie M.C. before Let Me Entertain you is "bonsoir Paris!" so it's from paris 79.
and it's definately different any other paris show either Official LK.

Yes, the "Bonsoir Paris" is from Paris, but it's the exact same as Paris 3-1-79. Compare it to the video yourself. But then there is an obvious cut, because it's a different version of the song itself. Therefore we can't know what the date of the song is. The 2-27-79 thing is a myth. It's unbelievable that few people actually listen to their recordings, and don't notice that the majority of this audio is Live Killers. It was dubbed to a TV special aired in December 1979 called "The Champions".
Parts of BoRhap and SHA are from some Japanese show (listen to how bad Freddie's voice sounds), and TYMD is also from Japan... it's clearly a Japanese audience. All the others are dubbed with the Live Killers audio, with a slight patch here and there... like in WWRY. It's clearly the LK version, but a couple vocal adlibs from Freddie were kept in, so the video could still match the audio. It's actually amazing how much effort was put into dubbing the audio for this TV special.
If you don't want to take my word for it, then fine. If you don't, then this would be a perfect example of people believing the folklore instead of taking the word of someone who's presenting musical evidence. It's just like those people who still believe Silver Salmon was recorded in 1971... because someone says so.

Totally off topic, but : I recently bought the ANATO 30th. Anniversary ed. (a bit late, I know...). On the DVD you see Live Footage dubbed with studio audio. Everything is there, Hyde Park, Earl's Court, Houston etc. But there is footage (Death on two Legs) from a '78 or '79 Show which is unkown too me. It's not Paris, Munich, Brussels, Barcelona, Tokio or London. Does someone knows a bit more about this? ( Sir GH ;-)
I hope someday whe have a Boxset with all that 70's footage made officialy. Houston & Earl's Court are so good looking on this one....
