November 2000, I think. I didn't get mine until December 2002, but that's neither here nor there. I remember the Freddie site went up in October 2000 or thereabouts.

What I'd heard was that originally it was scheduled for a spring 2007 release, but it was then essentially shelved until after 2007. Greg even confirmed this a few months later as I remember.
As far as I know, the situation hasn't changed in the slightest, so my guess is that somehow Record Collector got wind of the original plan, but are now months behind the news of what's officially happening.
Hope I'm wrong though.

You can preorder the 10 cd singles set on hmv.co.uk...in fact I've already done that...seems a pretty good price at that...13.99 quid?! For some reason that seems a little low to me...

That's 'cause it's not going to be 10 discs. Seeing what GB stated about the contents, it won't be more than 3 or 4 discs. Still, low price.
