I had one bulb out in my overhead kitchen fixture for, well, months. Two weeks ago, the other one died, so I have been stumbling around in the dark when I cook. I just bought two American light bulbs last week, and you have inspired me to change them, except I get very nervous and unsteady while standing on the stepstool (or is it step stool?) I have never had both bulbs out at the same time. Which one should I change first? This one or that one? No one has mentioned the dead bugs that accumulate in the globe over time. They are quite yummy when you put them in oatmeal. They taste like raisins.
I'm inclined to remove the lightbulbs in my home, it's too much like inviting the Sun around for tea.
I just changed my pants. I guess it's alright for me to start a thread about that, right?

now, is this an incandescent lightbulb you're changing, or a fluorescent lightbulb?
it's such a waste if you throw the bulbs away. you should use the long fluorescent bulb for a light saber, and the incandescent bulb for... well, when you have a stupid/crazy/brilliant idea and had a lightbulb moment. just put it on top of your head.
