QueenZone Video Project

Hi I've had an idea for a good project IMHO instead of waiting for Queen Productions to release the other promo videos why don't we make our own,but for every album.

What I am suggesting is that 1 queenzoner chooses 1 Queen Album or 1 Solo Album and then creates a video for every track on the album either that or a group of about 3 or 4 QueenZoners chooses an album and each Queenzoner in that group makes a video for 2 or 3 tracks on the Album or depending on the length of the album it would be split equally for example a group of 3 working on The Works Album would have 3 tracks each.

If this project gets off the ground we can upload our videos and I will download them all and burn on to a DVD(s) depending on how many get done and we can have our own Queen Video Collection and then upload them in the announce section.

What do you mean by "make a video" for a track? Like a compilation video, or shoot your own footage, or what?

What I mean is compile a video using footage from live shows,promo video footage or rare footage that you own or a simple slideshow with suitable pictures a bit like DORO do.

Like the 30th anniversary ANATO DVD

and if this project gets off the ground we could end up with a large DVD set containg a video for every track on every album

The quality of the final product is a lot better picture wise as it is DVD quality this is in MP4 format and is just to give you an idea by what i mean by make a video for a track.

What i was thinking was a DVD disc for each album so that the video's remain in as higher quality as possible

I like it a lot I think we have ourselves a bonus track for the hotspace disc because its not the studio version but i really like it so thanx for that

I know this is an ambitious project but if we get this going the end result will be great i'm sure

This won't work for two reasons, 1, that video for machines has a lot of live footage that doesn't work. However, the use of calling all girls footage does help it. But it can't survive on that alone.
And 2, just think of all the photos, videos that would get used and re-used over and over... The DoRo folk have shown that it's not easy to do and often just looks bad or tired or even wrong.

Anyone who tries this is gonna stop somewhere down the line cause it's too much work with too little resources. Try, if you must. But I really don't think it'll work to anyone's advantage.

That could work and is prob a better idea to be honest but i am going to keep working on this although for my own personal use any help would be appricated i will share the final result for each album here as well although i like your idea also
