the first thing i noticed about this guy was just how freaking huge his forhead is.

This Freddie still makes me chuckle because he's got a HUGE forehead LOL and he's bald, but if I don't look at the video, and just listen, he sounds so much like Freddie it's unbelievable!!

On Youtube you can find some videos of the "cover band".
I think this Band is "cheating". if you watch one of those videos you can/could see that he sing Playback. If you hear to it you can hear what they probably do:
They take the Original Freddie Voice and MIx it. The Pitch a bit higher, the track a bit slower. They cut the song and make longer gaps in it. It will sound like Freddies voice.

I have great ears, and I don't think I am mistaken.
This singer is the closest to Freddie Mercury that I've heard from any vocalist besides Freddie Mercury!
His consistency is amazing. Unlike some imitators who only sound like Freddie here or there, this guy is consistently similar.
Even his speaking voice at the end of the show, is eerily like Freddie's.
I'd like to hear more of his singing to be sure though. I've only heard samples of songs.

Magic earplugs, that make you think the pitch is higher when in fact the guy has dropped most of the songs a whole step?
The guy is a most talented imitator, but this is clearly not the voice of Freddie Mercury.
